(August 15, 2023) — Forefront Books, a Nashville-based independent book publisher, has announced the hiring of Becky Nesbitt as Publisher of her own imprints and Associate Publisher for Forefront Books. Nesbitt most recently was Editorial Director and Executive Editor at Penguin Random House.

Nesbitt joins Forefront with over 30 years of experience gleaned from editorial roles at Simon & Schuster, Penguin Random House, and Tyndale House Publishers. “Jonathan has assembled an incredible, forward-thinking team and I’m excited to be a part of it.” Nesbitt said. “I’m thrilled to contribute to such an innovative and successful model of publishing.”
