(September 12, 2024)—The American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) held their annual conference from September 5–7, concluding with an awards gala at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans on September 7. During this event, the organization announced the recipients of the Carol Awards, which honor outstanding Christian fiction published in the previous year. Among the winners were three authors from Baker Publishing Group: Carrie Turansky, Christina Suzann Nelson, and Lynn H. Blackburn. Additionally, Bethany House author Dani Pettrey received recognition as Mentor of the Year.
