Love Thy Body by Nancy Pearcey won the Public Theology & Current Events category and The Devil’s Redemption by Michael J. McClymond won the Academic Theology category.
The Gospel Coalition reviews around 300 books a year. At the end of the year, they assess which titles in a variety of categories were most helpful based on the following criteria: “faithful use of Scripture and gospel-centered argument; fostering of spiritual discernment; and encouragement to unite and renew the church.”
