Washington, D.C.—The Salem Books imprint of Regnery Publishing announced on August 23 that Julie Jayne has been promoted from Senior Sales Executive to Associate Publisher. Julie has worked for Regnery for over five years and has proven to be an invaluable source for the company. In her role as Senior Sales Executive, Julie was responsible for selling titles into the biggest accounts ranging from the East Coast to the Midwest, including Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, Ingram, and Baker & Taylor. She has been an integral part of some of Regnery’s biggest successes, including Fault Lines, Johnny Cash, One Vote Away, Irreversible Damage, and others.

In addition to her role with Regnery, Julie has worked in the publishing industry for 34 years, primarily overseeing sales for publishers including Abingdon Press, Thomas Nelson, and HarperCollins Christian. She has contributed to the success of bestselling books such as Heaven is For Real, Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy, and Life’s Little Instruction Book just to name a few. Julie will report to Salem Books Publisher Tim Peterson and will be acquiring projects, managing book schedules, and overseeing the marketing publicity team.
