Blaine Smith, Bible Publisher at Tyndale House, to retire after 16 years of service
Tyndale House Ministries has announced that Blaine Smith, Bible Publisher, will retire on March 31, after serving at the company for nearly 16 years. Publishing veteran Amy Simpson, who has served as Associate Bible Publisher, will succeed Smith as Bible Publisher.

PW talks to agents in Christian publishing about predictions and needs in industry
Publishers Weekly — Sales are up in Christian publishing—and literary agents believe sales should remain strong in the coming year. PW talked to a half a dozen agents in the Christian publishing space to get a feel for changes, progress, and needs within the industry. Several spoke of increased interest in dealing with trauma, mental health, and wellness.
ECPA bestseller lists for March to be released tomorrow
The March Christian bestseller lists, produced monthly by ECPA based on NPD data, will be released tomorrow, March 15. The lists are later this month due to a data delay announced by NPD. To receive the lists in your inbox each month, sign up here.
ECPA opens registration for International Christian Rights & Export Fair in Chicago
Registration is now open for the second annual ECPA International Christian Rights & Exports Fair, held June 28-29 on the campus of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. This event allows for members of the international publishing community to meet with foreign publishers, retailers, and distributors to discuss licensing and international sales.

Deadline to participate in Christian Collective at Frankfurt Book Fair is tomorrow
Registrations for participating in the ECPA Christian Collective at the Frankfurt Book Fair, held October 19-23, 2022, will be accepted through tomorrow, March 15. For more information, contact Cynthia Helblig.
The Christy Award® accepting submissions til March 31
Nominations will be accepted March 1-31 in nine fiction categories for The Christy Award® program. All Christy Award submissions are open to works of fiction written from a Christian worldview, published traditionally or independently from March 2021 to March 2022. Submitters may also opt to nominate a title to be considered for the Christy Amplify Award on the application for no extra fee.

AFA names Elk Lake novel as best fiction for 2021
