Carol Stream, Ill. (February 16, 2023) — Tyndale Kids is releasing three new children’s books in the summer of 2023. In line with the Tyndale Kids mission, these new books—Good Morning, God Loves You; The Top 50 Bible Lessons about Ordinary People in God’s Extraordinary Plan; and Tricky Times—are designed to share God’s love with readers while teaching faith-filled lessons.
Good Morning, God Loves You
Good Morning, God Loves You is a colorful, rhyming board book for families of young children. The beauty of God’s creation, as shown in words and charming illustrations, reminds children how much they are loved by God the Father. Each page reveals family members enjoying the great outdoors as they are greeted with “God loves you!” in barks, birdsong, and other nature sounds. Readers are reminded that hearing a message of God’s love is the best way to begin and celebrate each day. Families with young children will bond together as they snuggle up to read this book. They will be inspired to take a nature walk and discover other expressions of God’s love in the world he created.
The Top 50 Bible Lessons about Ordinary People in God’s Extraordinary Plan
In The Top 50 Bible Lessons about Ordinary People in God’s Extraordinary Plan, children will learn more about the men and women of the Bible. They will learn that just like these Bible characters, though we might not be perfect and we might mess up, God’s love for us never changes. If we are listening to God and in a relationship with him, we can be used by him to do extraordinary things. Each of the 50 chapters teach kids about a person from the Bible and how that person was used in God’s great plan.
Tricky Times: Patrick Wigglesworth’s Bizarre Bible Adventure #2
Tricky Times picks up where the first Patrick Wigglesworth’s Bizarre Bible Adventure book, Over My Head, left off. Patrick is now in fifth grade and at a brand-new school in Gasket, California. He and his best friends are confronted by a new crop of cool rich kids who are threatening to do away with the Gasket way of life. Patrick, wading into politics for the first time, decides to run for student council president in order to thwart the school takeover. Things don’t turn out at all the way he planned in his fifth-grade political career.
The same is true for his Bizarre Bible Adventure (BBA for short), which takes him through the Bible from Joshua through Job. Joshua, the newly appointed leader of the Israelites, serves as Patrick’s tour guide and shows him that taking the Promised Land was just as messy as Patrick’s life!
