Publication Recognized at Annual Evangelical Press Association Convention
Colorado Springs, CO: Outreach magazine, a celebrated Christian ministry publication in its 21st year of circulation, received several awards at the annual Evangelical Press Association Convention, April 21–23. in Lexington, Kentucky.
The convention is a gathering of some of the world’s premier evangelical media outlets that counts among its membership Christianity Today, World Vision, DTS, The Voice of the Martyrs and Focus on the Family. EPA hosts two annual contests: the Awards of Excellence contest (for publications as a whole) and the Higher Goals contest (for individual pieces the publication produced—writing, photography, design, etc.).
At this year’s gathering, Outreach received an award of merit in the Christian Ministry (print) category, as well as a 2nd place Higher Goals award in the interview article category for “Lecrae: Reconstructing Faith” by Paul J. Pastor, and a 4th place Higher Goals award in the evangelism article category for “Beyond Growth and Decline: Why We Need a New Narrative to Mobilize the Next Generation” by Daniel Yang.
