Christianity Today’s Dr. Timothy Dalrymple to speak at PubU opening session
The opening session of ECPA PubU, held November 13-14 in Chicago, will gather all 160+ attendees – before they head to their individual training programs among six publishing tracks – and feature an address by Dr. Timothy Dalrymple, president and CEO of Christianity Today. Additionally, the two designers who led CT’s rebrand and redesign will announce the winners of the 2024 Top Shelf Book Cover Awards. Sparkle Boea and Sarah Gordon will also lead a session in the Design Track. It’s not too late to register: ECPAPubU.org
Christian bestseller lists posted for October
ECPA has released the monthly Christian bestseller lists for October 2024 in 15 categories, based on September sales through Circana BookScan. The top-selling book is “The Dragon’s Prophecy” by Jonathan Cahn (Charisma House), with “Practicing the Way” by John Mark Comer (WaterBrook) and “What Happens Next” by Max Lucado (Thomas Nelson) coming in at #2 and #3.
Chris Fabry to broadcast live radio show at ECPA Art of Writing conference
The upcoming Art of Writing conference, hosted by ECPA on November 14 in Chicago before The Christy Award Gala that evening, will feature four sessions for writers, publishers, and fiction fans including a session that will double as a LIVE BROADCAST on Moody Radio. Chris Fabry Live host and author Chris Fabry will lead a discussion of how pain helps writers process their lives and can help readers do the same.
