HarperCollins Christian Publishing honored with nine SEPA Awards

The Treasury of David by Charles Spurgeon wins Book of the Year

(Nashville, TN) August 16, 2017—The Spanish division at HarperCollins Christian Publishing received nine awards from the Spanish Evangelical Christian Publishers (SEPA).  These awards recognize market impact and milestone achievements from the previous calendar year. SEPA awards are presented annually in Miami, FL at the Spanish Christian Trade Show, Expolit.

The imprint Editorial CLIE received the SEPA Book of the Year Award for The Treasury of David (El tesoro de David) by Charles Spurgeon with notes by Eliseo Vila.

For sales volume, the company took home four awards:

  • 2016 Highest Sales Volume in the Category of Christian Life: The Purpose Driven Life (Una vida con Propósito) by Rick Warren (Editorial Vida)
  • 2016 Highest Sales Volume in the Category of Gift Books: Jesus Calling (Jesús te Ilama) by Sarah Young (Grupo Nelson)
  • 2016 Highest Sales Volume in the Category of Text Bibles: Biblia 28 a la vez NVI (Editorial Vida)
  • 2016 Highest Sales Volume in the Category of Specialized Bibles: The Maxwell Leadership Bible(Biblia de liderazgo Maxwell) (Grupo Nelson)
For Milestone Achievements, HCCP was honored with four awards:

  • 2016 Honor Gallery (over 1,000,000 copies sold): The Purpose Driven Life (Una vida con Propósito) by Rick Warren (Editorial Vida)
  • 2016 Honor Gallery (over 500,000 colies sold): Biblia 28 a la vez NVI (Editorial Vida)
  • 2016 Honor Gallery (over 250,000 copies sold): In Honor of the Holy Spirit by Cash Luna (Editorial Vida)
  • 2016 Honor Gallery (over 100,000 copies sold): Strong’s Concordance (Nueve concordancia de Strong) by James Strong (Grupo Nelson)
