NASHVILLE, TN (January 7, 2026) – HarperCollins Christian Publishing today announced that Wes Jakacki was named Vice President of Marketing for HarperChristian Resources (HCR). Jakacki will begin his new role on February 9 and will report to John Raymond, VP and Publisher, HarperChristian Resources.
As VP of Marketing, Jakacki will lead HCR’s overall marketing and brand strategy, supporting bestselling authors like Lysa TerKeurst, Max Lucado, Lisa Harper, Louie Giglio, Ann Spangler, Jennie Allen, and David Jeremiah. He will focus on marketing strategies for HCR’s backlist and strengthening our position in the Bible study market.
Jakacki joined HarperCollins Christian Publishing in 2024 as Marketing Director and currently serves as Senior Marketing Director focusing on digital marketing for Nelson Books. In his current role, he oversees backlist marketing strategies to drive sustainable growth, manages digital ad campaigns across Amazon, Meta, and Google, and amplifies author messages through social and email channels. Prior to joining HCCP, Jakacki served as a VP of Marketing and VP of Operations and Finance at Christianity Today.
