CGO Brings Beloved Arch® Books to Children in Five New Languages Through LWML Grant

Concordia Gospel Outreach (CGO) has translated five classic Bible story books into Spanish, Chinese, Telugu, Arabic, and Farsi—putting the account of our saving God into the hands of immigrant and refugee children in the languages they know best.

ST. LOUIS—Many ministries and community organizations that serve immigrant and refugee families struggle to find Christian resources in the languages these children speak at home. Through a mission grant from Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML), Concordia Gospel Outreach has translated five beloved Arch Books—The Story of Creation, Noah’s 2-by-2 Adventure, Baby Jesus Is Born, The Week That Led to Easter, and Jesus Blesses the Children—into Spanish, Chinese, Telugu, Arabic, and Farsi. CGO will distribute the Bible story books free of charge to ministries and organizations in the United States.

The goal of the initiative is to help children encounter the love of Jesus through central Bible stories in the languages they know best and to help ministries share the Gospel with those they serve.
