Carol Stream, IL (September 7, 2026) – Tyndale House Publishers is excited to announce that two of its authors were honored with Carol Awards at the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) annual conference on August 29. ACFW is a professional organization devoted to the craft of Christian fiction and helping writers expand their knowledge of the publishing industry.
The Lawyer and the Laundress, by Christine Hill Suntz, edited by Kathryn S. Olson, won the Historical Romance category.
The Christmas Book Flood, by Roseanna M. White, edited by Elizabeth Jackson and Kathryn S. Olson, won the Novella award.

As a popular author struggles to find ways to give her young niece a joyful holiday during World War II, she recruits a fellow colleague to help her. As they bring Icelandic Christmas traditions to life for the girl, the author finds herself drawn to her colleague, but if love is to grow between them, she will need to reveal a closely held secret to him.
