NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 1, 2026) — Hachette Nashville’s new imprint, Apiary, is off to an impressive start with its first two titles being national bestsellers. Last week, House of the Forest by Tara Sierra Moseley debuted at #80 on the USA Today bestseller list, and this week Defiant Lights by Nirup Alphonse was #39.
Apiary was announced by Vice President and Publisher Daisy Hutton this past June with the imprint officially launching in the beginning of September.

“We’re proud and thrilled – but not at all surprised!– that the first two books released under our new Apiary imprint have become national bestsellers,” said Hutton. “Both Tara and Nirup are true originals who have written powerful, relevant, and transformative books that only they could write, and their editor, Beth Adams, is among the most insightful and talented in the business. These creators and their books represent the best of what we strive for at Apiary.”
The Apiary team is not slowing down anytime soon! Return to the Shack – the highly anticipated sequel to the worldwide phenomenon of The Shack by Wm. Paul Young – will release on October 6th. Soon after that, Apiary will release Stand Steady by Cissie Graham Lynch and Dr. Henry Cloud’s new devotional, Renewal.
The Hachette Nashville team is proud of what the new Apiary imprint has been able to accomplish in such a short time and is looking forward to many more successes in the future.
Apiary is a division of Hachette Book Group. Learn more at apiarybooks.com.
