BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — B&H Publishing Group will release a special 100th anniversary edition of “Word Pictures in the New Testament,” the influential New Testament commentary from noted Greek scholar A.T. Robertson, on Nov. 1.
Originally released a century ago, Robertson’s “Word Pictures in the New Testament” has served generations of pastors, students and scholars seeking to better understand the language and meaning of the New Testament. The new anniversary edition preserves Robertson’s commentary while presenting the work in a refreshed, reformatted three-volume set.
Robertson was professor of New Testament interpretation at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary until his death in 1934. A respected Greek scholar and author of numerous books, Robertson has had a lasting influence on New Testament studies.

This work features Robertson’s chapter-by-chapter commentary for each book of the New Testament, drawing on his expertise in New Testament Greek to help readers engage more deeply with the biblical text. The anniversary edition brings the material previously presented in six volumes together in three volumes, designed for contemporary readers and libraries.
The three-volume “Word Pictures in the New Testament, 100th Anniversary Edition” releases Nov. 1 from B&H Publishing Group. The hardcover set is 3,000 pages and carries a suggested retail price of $129.99.
