(Nashville, TN) January 11, 2017—Today, Thomas Nelson announced Karen Jackson as its new director of marketing its imprint, Nelson Books. Jackson will work under the direction of Jeff James, vice president of marketing for Nelson Books.
In her new role as director of marketing, Jackson will focus on maintaining strategic relationships and will work closely with Nelson Book authors to develop and execute critical marketing initiatives to ensure success.
Jackson comes to Nelson Books from the music industry, working in marketing at both EMI Gospel and Motown Records. Most recently, Jackson served as director of marketing for Motown Record’s gospel division.

Jackson holds a Masters of Business Administration from Auburn University.
