Lockard will report to Brian Hampton, senior vice president and publisher for Nelson Books, and will work closely alongside Hampton to develop and lead key marketing and brand strategy.
Lockard comes to Nelson Books after running a consulting firm specializing in B2B and B2C marketing strategy, professional development, and brand strategy. Prior to that, she spent 10 years at Hallmark, including roles as retail merchandise director and vice president of Gift Solutions. Other experience includes roles as brand director for Whirlpool, vice president of marketing for Jockey International, and director of advertising and public relations for Lee Apparel.
