Rob Moll, author and editor, dies at forty-one
Rob Moll, author of "The Art of Dying" and "What Your Body Knows About God," has died at the age of forty-one. Leaving behind his wife and four young children, Moll will be remembered as a talented writer and editor as well as a beloved friend.

Publishers Weekly — Quad and LSC Communications have mutually agreed to call off the planned purchase of LSC by Quad. The deal would have united the country’s two largest printers. The purchase was scheduled to be completed this October, but the Department of Justice sued to stop the merger.

Call for Nominations for Top Shelf Book Cover Awards: Judges named
The Top Shelf Book Cover Award program is now accepting online submissions for the 2019 program until August 31. Each nomination is only $59 so that publishers can submit as many of their top book cover designs as possible. Each year, a prestigious team of judges is recruited to review the industry’s submissions and choose the best designs. This year’s judges are renowned designers Dana Tanamachi, Jason Ramirez, and Richard Ljoenes.
