Nekasha Pratt named senior director of marketing for Thomas Nelson and Zondervan Fiction
HarperCollins Christian Publishing recently announced Nekasha Pratt as the company’s new senior director of marketing for fiction books under both Thomas Nelson and Zondervan. Pratt brings more than 18 years of marketing expertise to the organization, across multiple industries including non-profit, financial services, and consumer goods. Throughout her career she has helped lead campaigns that have won over 20 creative awards, including three international Cannes Lions.

HarperCollins Christian Publishing (HCCP) and HarperCollins Focus (HCF) has announced Brad Hill’s promotion to director of audio sales. Hill began his career at Zondervan, a publishing group within HCCP, in 2006 on the audio production team where he helped bring front list titles to the audio format. Before returning to HCCP and HCF in 2019, he spent six years managing teams at Brilliance Audio where he gained experience in the broader audio publishing industry.

On November 16-18, ECPA will present C-Suite Connect — the online version of the annual C-Suite Symposium, which will gather the C-level leaders in the ECPA member companies. The program will focus on the theme: Getting Ready for a Different Kind of Future. Presenters include Walter Kim (NAE); Maria Pallante (AAP); Shirley Mullen (CCCU); Michael Lindsay (Gordon College); author Karen Swallow Prior; Kristen McLean (NPD Book); Jon Frendl (Cappital); Allen Yeh (Biola); Mark Schoenwald (HCCP); Jeff Wright (UMI), and more. The program will also feature an interactive Virtual Town Hall with the executive committee of the ECPA board and the ECPA Industry Awards Celebration, featuring Stormie Omartian as the recipient of The ECPA Pinnacle Award, and Stan Gundry as the recipient of the Kenneth N. Taylor Lifetime Achievement Award.
Christian publishers participate in decentralized Seoul International Book Fair
The 2020 Seoul International Book Fair, held Oct. 16-25, was held both online and offline as a decentralized festival, linking bookstores and cultural spaces around Seoul. 198 domestic publishers and 32 local bookstores and cultural spaces participated in the book fair including Christian Literature Center, Publishing Bureau of The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Korea, Jordan Press, Urim Books, and Grace Publishers. The Korean Publishers Association announced that the fair’s major online exhibitions, lectures, and programs will be available on the official website and YouTube until the end of this year.

Angel artist and new devotional author Anne Neilson on Jesus Calling Podcast
