The top leaders in Christian publishing will gather in person for the first time in two years for the ECPA C-Suite Symposium, held September 19-21 in Tucson, Arizona. Sessions and speakers include:

ECPA plans first ever PubU Online Children’s Book Summit on November 3
As part of the PubU Online programming this November, ECPA has planned a day-long conference devoted to Children’s literature. The conference will present five webinars from publishers and experts in the genre, including a session from NPD specifically about the opportunities and trends in Christian children’s books. Linda Howard, Associate Publisher for Children and Youth for Tyndale House Publishers will serve as the track leader for the program developed by children’s market analyst and author Dr. Mary Manz Simon. All attendees of PubU Online can attend the summit. The PubU Online program will include an additional five tracks, presented the week of November 8, in editorial, marketing, design, production/operations, and diversity, equity & inclusion.

HarperCollins Focus names Sara Kendrick associate publisher for HarperCollins Leadership
HarperCollins Focus has announced Sara Kendrick as the new associate publisher for the HarperCollins Leadership imprint. Kendrick has served as a senior acquisitions editor for HarperCollins Leadership since the imprint launched in 2018. As associate publisher, Kendrick will lead editorial planning, brand initiatives, and continue to acquire authors and content for HarperCollins Leadership.
