MEMPHIS, Tennessee, November 1, 2021—End Game Press is pleased to announce that Bedtime with Mommy, written by Nancy I. Sanders and illustrated by Felia Hanakata, won the gold medal in the Board Book / Cloth Book Print category in the 15th Annual, 2021 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards. Launched in 2007, the awards are intended to bring increased recognition to exemplary children’s books and their creators, and to celebrate children’s books and life-long reading.
The first title released by End Game Press, Bedtime with Mommy is an adorable board book that features a mommy and baby animal in eight different habitats around the world getting ready for bed. Beautiful illustrations complement the words that take readers from the elephants on the grasslands, to the camels in the desert, to the polar bears in the Arctic, and concludes when Mommy tucks a child into bed.

The Moonbeam Children’s Book Award medalists were chosen from nearly 1,500 total entries that came from children’s book authors, illustrators, and publishers from all over the U.S. and from 22 other countries around the world.
