December 4, 2025–WHEATON, Ill.— Crossway is pleased to announce that Good News for Parents: How God Can Restore Our Joy and Relieve Our Burdens (Crossway, August 2025) by Adam Griffin has won the Marriage, Family, and Singleness category for Christianity Today’s 2025 Book Awards.
Parents are often faced with an immense amount of conflicting advice. Most of this advice leaves parents feeling more discouraged and stressed about their parenting. Good News for Parents offers a refreshing alternative to typical parenting advice. Griffin reveals how walking by the Spirit can free parents from the anxieties, stress, and self-doubt of parenting. Utilizing Galatians 5, Griffin explains how the fruits of the Spirit provide the lasting relief that parents so desperately need.

Throughout the book, editors McCracken and Mesa, along with thirteen contributors, use Neil Postman’s 1985 book Amusing Ourselves to Death as a starting point, exploring Postman’s insights and connecting them to the challenges, questions, and opportunities facing the church today.
