The special 7-day Scripture reading involving nearly 150 Christian ministries in Washington, D.C. at the Museum of the Bible will feature Whitaker House publisher’s KJVER Bible.

(April 13, 2026) — America Reads the Bible, an event bringing Christian leaders from all spheres of influence together to read the Bible aloud from beginning to end and inspire the nation, will be using Whitaker House publisher’s King James Version Easy Read Bible (KJVER™) as their chosen translation.
Regarding the decision to use this text, event organizer and founder of Christians Engaged, Bunni Pounds, comments, “Whitaker House has believed in this project – America Reads the Bible – since we first cast the vision for it.
