Jeremiah J. Johnston, PhD, is a New Testament scholar and frequent contributor to national publications and shows, including FOX News, USA Today, Relevant, Decision, The Christian Post, and In the Market with Janet Parshall. A sought-after speaker by universities and churches of various denominations, Johnston ministers internationally in partnership with the Museum of the Bible. He is president of the Christian Thinkers Society, a Resident Institute at Houston Baptist University, where he serves as professor of early Christianity. His passion is working with local churches and pastors in equipping Christians to give intellectually informed accounts of what they believe, and he is known for his unique communication skills and his infectious love for people.
Johnston is the author of Unanswered: Lasting Truth for Trending Questions and has developed and taught Bible study video series with LifeWay Church Resources. He completed his doctoral residency in Oxford and received his PhD from Middlesex University. He also earned advanced degrees in theology from Acadia University and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
