Uhrichsville, OH—Barbour Publishing is pleased to announce that Annie Tipton, Senior Acquisitions Editor, has been named a finalist in ACFW’s 2017 Editor of the Year contest.
Tipton has worked at Barbour Publishing for over 11 years and started acquiring the company’s full-length fiction in March 2013. As an author herself, the fiction genre has proven a perfect fit for both her interests and skill sets. She’s written the award-winning Diary of a Real Payne fiction series for kids along with a few other nonfiction works. Known by authors and her fellow coworkers as one of the most thoughtful and hardworking people in the industry, this recognition comes as no surprise.
“I am just thrilled for Annie,” says Kelly McIntosh, Vice President of Editorial at Barbour. “She brings excellence into everything she does here at Barbour, so this is a much deserved honor.”
The winner of the Editor of the Year contest will be announced during the ACFW Conference Gala scheduled to be held in Grapevine, Texas from September 21 – 24. To learn more about ACFW, visit www.acfw.com.
Please join Barbour Publishing in congratulating Annie Tipton on this wonderful achievement.
