September 11, 2025–WHEATON, Ill.—Crossway celebrated the release of The Sing! Hymnal at the 2025 Sing! Conference, September 1–3, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference, hosted by hymn writers and recording artists Keith and Kristyn Getty, welcomed 7,000 attendees.
Addressing the Sing! Conference attendees at the Grand Ole Opry, Crossway President and CEO Josh Dennis remarked, “Crossway exists to publish Gospel-centered resources for the building up of the body of Christ and for God’s glory alone. So this hymnal project really is at the heart of the kinds of resources we feel called to invest in and publish.”
The Sing! Hymnal is the first hymnal Crossway has published in its 87-year history. Keith and Kristyn Getty spearheaded the curation of The Sing! Hymnal along with a team of gifted musicians and editors, including pastor and hymn writer Matt Boswell, CityAlight’s co-founder Rich Thompson, and Grammy- and Dove Award-winning singer-songwriter Laura Story, who were in attendance at the 2025 Sing! conference.
