Speakers announced for Art of Writing and Christy Award Gala, Nov. 14 in Chicago

ECPA has announced the in-person program for The Christy Award® events, held in Chicago on November 14, that include The Christy Award Gala for Christian fiction – and a four-part Art of Writing series for creatives, publishers, writers, and fans that precedes it.  Early bird registration is open until September 13 and award finalists will be announced on September 12.

Christian Book Award submission period opens September 1st

The Christian Book Award® program, recognizing the highest quality in Christian books and Bibles from ECPA member publishers, will be open for submissions from September 1st to September 30. Presented annually since 1978, the award honors the “best of the year” in 12 categories and names the Christian Book of the Year®. Nomination deadline for PubU Emerging Leader scholars coming up

Nominations for Emerging Leader scholarships to ECPA PubU, that includes a year-long mentorship program, are due in a month, on September 20. Recipients will receive a scholarship to ECPA PubU, held this year in Chicago on November 13-14. There they will learn from industry leaders, connect and meet other emerging leaders, and be matched with an industry mentor for the coming year.

PubU track sessions announced for Production & Operations professionals

ECPA presents Milestone Sales Awards

ECPA recently presented the Gold Milestone Sales Award to recognize over 500,000 in sales to Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table by Louie Giglio (W Publishing, an imprint of Thomas Nelson).  Additionally, Bronze Awards were presented to these titles for exceeding 100,000 in sales:
