ECPA PubU Design track will focus on technology and innovation
Every year, ECPA PubU gathers design professionals in Christian publishing for training, networking, and celebration with the announcement of the industry’s Top Shelf Book Cover Awards. This year, the design track will be led by the Baker Publishing Group design team of Chris Kuhatschek (senior art director) and Nate Eidenberger (senior graphic designer and multimedia specialist). Chris and Nate have described the six sessions they’re planning as focused on innovation within the book cover space, with topics like AI, human creativity, conceptual thinking, thinking beyond the front cover, and innovative ways freelance designers can get their name out in the world.
Held in person on November 13-14 in Chicago, ECPA PubU will feature session tracks in Marketing, Publicity, Editorial, Design, Production & Operations, plus a Children’s Book Summit, program for Emerging Leaders, online master classes, access to Circana’s industry report, and the option to attend the Art of Writing conference. All publishing professionals from ECPA member companies are invited to engage with all the benefits of this unique to Christian publishing training and connection at the EARLY BIRD RATE available now.
