ECPA releases December Bestseller Lists

ECPA posted the Christian book bestseller lists in 11 categories for the month of December, based on sales data from NPD Book.  The #1 bestselling book is Jesus Listens by Sarah Young (Thomas Nelson).  Operation Joktan by Amir Tsarfati and Steve Yohn (Harvest House) is the #1 Fiction book; and Crazy Faith by Michael Todd (WaterBrook) is #1 in New Releases.

Eerdmans Publishing appoints Sarah Gombis and Lisa Ann Cockrel

Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company announced that Sarah Gombis has joined the company as director of marketing for all academic, trade, and children’s titles. Gombis most recently worked as marketing manager at Baker Academic and also brings experience from her previous position as marketing manager at Zondervan Academic. Lisa Ann Cockrel has been hired as acquisitions editor. She was most recently director of programs for Image Journal and brings to her position vast experience that includes serving as director of the Festival of Faith & Writing, producer for Prime Time America, and editor for Christianity Today, Intl., Brazos Press, and Baker Academic.
