HarperCollins Christian Publishing hires Timothy Paulson as vice president and publisher for Thomas Nelson imprint Nelson Books
HarperCollins Christian Publishing has announced that Timothy Paulson will join the organization on February 4 as vice president and publisher of Nelson Books, a Thomas Nelson imprint. Paulson will be based in Nashville, Tenn., and will report to Brian Hampton, senior vice president and group publisher for HarperCollins Christian Publishing.

ECPA announces January bestsellers: Devotionals dominate
Jesus Calling (Thomas Nelson) represents 10 percent of the ECPA Top 50 bestsellers list for January. In addition, devotionals from seven different publishers occupy 14 of the top 50. New Morning Mercies by Paul David Tripp (Crossway) is at #18. Daily Guideposts 2019 (Zondervan) follows at #22. Two compilations by Barbour Publishing, Daily Wisdom for Women and Daily Wisdom for Men, come in at #26 and #33. Two Joyce Meyer titles, The Confident Woman Devotional and Trusting God Day by Day (FaithWords), are at #35 and #36.
