ECPA announces program for upcoming annual Leadership Summit
ECPA’s annual Spring management conference – the ECPA Leadership Summit – will gather the industry’s executive and management teams around the theme of EQUIPPING PUBLISHING LEADERS to lead well, to meet challenges, to adapt, explore, collaborate, and foster an enduring hope for the road ahead. The two day conference will be held May 9-10 in Nashville and includes a strong roster of speakers, panels, and breakouts around topics relevant to the Christian publishing leader, no matter what season they find themselves in.

10Publishing announces new partnership
In February, Reformation Lightning, a growing publisher dedicated to Christian writing for young readers, will be owned and operated by 10ofThose’s publishing house, 10Publishing. Founder of Reformation Lightning, Jonathan Pountney, believes this partnership will put more gospel-inspired fiction into young hands.

ECPA members are invited to post their summer internships on the ECPA Career Center for free. The ECPA Open Door Intern program connects Christian students of color with industry intern opportunities – and will provide online programming about the Christian publishing industry this summer. Today is early bird deadline for Christian Collective at Frankfurt Book Fair
ECPA represents Christian publishers at the Frankfurt Book Fair each year through the Christian Collective exhibit area. By sponsoring the exhibit space, ECPA is able to provide its member publishers with a complete set of services enabling them to effectively sell rights at the world’s largest international publishing event. European Christian Rights Fair confirmed for April in Krakow, Poland
European rights professionals will gather in Krakow Poland on April 24-26 for the Eastern European Christian Rights Fair, sponsored by ECPA and CLC International. Registration is now open to attend and/or exhibit.
Publishing in Color virtual conference set for March 13-17
Registration is open for the Publishing in Color online conference to connect editors and agents in Christian publishing with faith writers of color. The event will take place virtually on March 13-17 and registration is now open.

ECPA presents Gold Award for sales milestone reached
ECPA has presented a Gold Milestone Sales Award to honor the achievement of over 500,000 sold to Where Do We Go From Here? by Dr. David Jeremiah (W Publishing Group). More
Ellie Holcomb’s debut children’s book receives Bronze Award for 100,000 copies sold
Author and singer/songwriter Ellie Holcomb has received the Bronze Milestone Sales Award fro ECPA for selling more than 100,000 copies of her debut children's book, “Who Sang The First Song,” (B&H Publishing, 2018). The book hit the ECPA juvenile bestseller list and was a finalist for the 2019 Christian Book Award in the children's category.

Audiobooks are emerging as a new reading trend in South Korea. A leading Christian publisher Urim Books, an international member of ECPA, which started audiobook publishing in 2021, produced many bestsellers in 2022.

Thomas Nelson and Jeremiah J. Johnston partner for the Peace of God Bible
Thomas Nelson, a division of HarperCollins Christian Publishing, announces its partnership with author, pastor, and New Testament scholar Jeremiah J. Johnston, PhD, to release the NKJV Peace of God Bible. The project is scheduled for release in November 2024.

Tyndale House Publishers, in partnership with Axis, a parenting resources ministry, is set to release the next five guidebooks in their series designed to help parents bridge generational gaps in conversation with their teens. These booklets will release for individual purchase on March 7, 2023, and the Parent Guides to Finding True Identity bundle of all five booklets can be purchased on April 18, 2023.

Micah Tyler celebrates debut book release with sold-out signing at new Mardel store
Popular Christian artist and songwriter Micah Tyler released his debut book on January 24th, “Walking Free: Taking Small Steps To A Big God” (K-LOVE Books). He celebrated the book’s release day at the new Mardel Christian Store in Beaumont, Texas, near his hometown. He treated fans to book signing, photos, three acoustic songs and discussion about the book.
