The Christy Award® program will be presented online this fall for writers and publishers
ECPA has announced the program for The Christy Award online fall events that include webcasts announcing the finalists and winners of the industry’s top award for Christian fiction – and a four-part Art of Writing series for writers, publishers, creatives, and fans. The Art of Writing webinar series will be conducted Thursday evenings, Oct. 19-Nov. 9. Legendary novelists Janette Oke and Davis Bunn will keynote the Winners Gala on November 16.
Early bird rate ends in two weeks for ECPA C-Suite Symposium
C-Suite level executives from ECPA member companies are invited to the annual ECPA C-Suite Symposium, held in San Antonio on September 17-19. The Early Bird rate deadline of August 4 is just over two weeks away. Program, registration and information is at ECPACSuite.org.
Call for submissions: Christianity Today 2024 Book Awards
Christianity Today is calling for submissions for the 2024 Christianity Today Book Awards. The CT Book Awards, along with our "Beautiful Orthodoxy" Book of the Year, will be announced in December at ChristianityToday.com.

Two David C Cook titles named national bestsellers
David C Cook celebrates two bestsellers released on July 4. Natalie Runion’s first book “Raised to Stay” successfully placed on USA Today’s bestseller list, garnering the #1 spot in the religion category, ranking 21st in all books, and #5 in nonfiction. Bryan Clark’s “God’s Not Like That” placed at #2 in the religion category, #9 in the non-fiction category, and #37 in all books on the list.

New Growth to release four new books to Christian Counselor Series
The Ask the Christian Counselor series from New Growth Press is a series of compact books featuring biblical counseling answers to many of life’s common problems. Four new titles, added to the series on September 4, will address abortion, PTSD, grief, and adultery.

Author Mike Nappa discusses grief on Jesus Calling Podcast this week
After nearly thirty years of marriage, author Mike Nappa lost his dear wife, Amy, to cancer. Mike’s episode on The Jesus Calling Podcast airs on Thursday, sharing how he turned to Scripture to help him get through the day and to cope with waves of grief; even today, he knows firsthand how grief and joy can coexist.
