ECPA to host Legal Update webinar on August 3rd for members
While the world navigated challenges imposed by the pandemic, significant developments emerged in the laws and legal practices affecting publishing. A panel of industry legal experts will discuss recent legal developments and best practices for publishers in a free webinar for ECPA members on August 3 at 10 am CT. Industry attorney Brian Flagler will moderate a panel discussion with a group of experienced Christian publishing lawyers: Janet Stiven of Moody Bible, Mike Bzozowski of HarperCollins Christian, and Craig Gipson of Flagler Law Group, who will share their observations on important legal developments and the practical strategies they have implemented to successfully protect their clients. Daniel Marrs named associate publisher for Nelson Books
Nelson has announced Daniel Marrs as the new associate publisher for Nelson Books, a nonfiction imprint of the publishing group. In this role, Marrs will lead the editorial strategy for Nelson Books, overseeing the editorial process and helping to shape the acquisitions strategy for the imprint. He will also manage and develop the editorial production team.
