ECPA PubU offers publishing community an “immersive experience”
Held this November in the Chicago-area, ECPA PubU will bring together publishing professionals for intensive training among 30+ sessions in five tracks. But that’s not the only feature. States PubU co-chair Jerri Helms, who leads digital marketing at HarperCollins: “ECPA PubU is not just another conference; it’s an immersive experience designed to inform, inspire, train and connect us all with the tools and knowledge we need to thrive in today’s competitive market.” Track sessions will be announced next month by the PubU Brain Trust.
Registration to PubU also includes free add-on programs for a Children’s Book Summit or the Art of Writing Fiction Conference, pre-recorded Master Classes, and access to Circana industry research. Register at early bird rates at ECPAPubU.org.
ECPA welcomes four new members
ECPA recently welcomed a publisher and three industry affiliates to membership:
- YM360 publishes curriculum, sermon series, various books, training materials, parent ministry resources, devotional material, and other materials to help youth ministry leaders.
- Bradford & Bigelow, located in Peabody Massachusetts, offers print, warehousing, and distribution for faith-based publishers.
- C. Grant & Company’s Chris Grant is a 30-year veteran in Christian publishing, who consults on publishing strategy, digital marketing and sales, customer research, and AI implementation.
- Total Printing Systems is a digital book manufacturer offering single to full color printing in all bind styles. Services include POD, fulfillment, inventory management & warehousing.

Approaching deadline for Top Shelf Book Cover Awards
Submissions for the Top Shelf Book Cover Awards will be accepted until August 15 in Non-Fiction, Fiction, Children, and Bibles, published between June 2023 and August 2024, by ECPA member publishers. Winners will be announced November 13th at ECPA PubU in Chicago. Nomination and program information at TopShelfAward.org

Jodie Berndt’s Praying the Scriptures Series hits major sales milestone
Zondervan Books proudly announces Jodie Berndt’s Praying the Scriptures series has surpassed half a million books sold. Originally published by Zondervan in 2001, “Praying the Scriptures for Your Children: Discover How to Pray God's Purpose for Their Lives has now sold more than 270,000 copies, including a special 20th anniversary edition.”
