Jessica Wong named Associate Publisher for Nelson Books
Thomas Nelson today announced Jessica Wong as the new associate publisher for Nelson Books, a nonfiction imprint of Thomas Nelson. Wong has spent seven years working in editorial for Thomas Nelson, most recently serving as the executive editor for Nelson Books.

ECPA PubU goes online in series of daily webinars in September
Beginning on August 31, ECPA will present PubU Online, a reimagined version of the industry’s annual Publishing University. Following the overall theme, Publishing in a Time of Crisis, PubU Online will feature 20+ webinars—one per day—in four training tracks:
- Diversity & Inclusion | Mondays | September 1, 14, 21, 28
- Marketing | Tuesdays | September 8, 15, 22, 29
- Editorial | Wednesdays | September 9. 16, 23, 30
- Data-Delivery-Workflow | Thursdays | September 3, 10. 17, 24
In addition to the daily webinars, PubU Online will include access to master classes and training sessions led by gifted industry speakers including Dr. Theon Hill (Asst. Professor at Wheaton College) and Kristen McLean with The NPD Group.
The low registration price of $99 will allow attendees access to all webinars, online communities, and Zoom meet-ups. As with all of ECPA’s online events this year, PubU Online will be available only to ECPA members and affiliates.

CJK Group, Inc. has announced an agreement with Quad/Graphics, Inc. to acquire the assets associated with its Versailles, Kentucky, book manufacturing facility. CJK Group will acquire the equipment and assume the customer contracts at the facility. The new entity will operate under the name Sheridan Kentucky and will align under the Sheridan division of the CJK Group.
