ECPA releases June Bestseller lists in 10 categories
The month’s top 10 bestsellers are still dominated by familiar titles and authors. Two books by first-time authors debuting on the list are enjoying success in the category grown by Rachel Hollis, author of the #1 bestselling Girl, Wash Your Face (Thomas Nelson). They are Jordan Lee Dooley’s Own Your Everyday (WaterBrook), and The Greatest You by Trent Shelton (Thomas Nelson). The top selling new release comes from Louis Giglio, pastor of Passion City Church and founder of the Passion Movement. His new book Not Forsaken (B&H Publishing Group), comes in at #5.

Geoff Dennis joins The Good Book Company as Vice President of Sales

ECPA has opened the early bird registration for PubU, to be held November 5-6 in Nashville, at Lipscomb University. The industry training event for Christian publishing professionals will feature NYT bestselling author and Proverbs 31 president Lysa TerKeurst as keynote, along with 40+ sessions in six publishing tracks: Editorial, Digital Marketing, Design, Reader Engagement & Publicity, Data Delivery & Workflow, and Emerging Leaders – a new one-day track for those new to the industry. The PubU “brain trust” of publishing leaders are currently developing their tracks and posting sessions.

The Top Shelf Awards are accepting nominations for the 2019 book cover award program until August 31. Books must be published by an ECPA member from June 2018 to August 2019. Christianity Today call for “CT Book Award” nominations
Christianity Today is calling for submissions for the 2020 Christianity Today Book Awards. The CT Book Awards, along with our "Beautiful Orthodoxy" Book of the Year, will be announced in December at ChristianityToday.com. Winners will be featured prominently in the January/February 2020 issue of CT and widely promoted in CT newsletters and on the site. Publishers of the winning books will have the opportunity to participate in a promotions organized by CT's marketing team.
