ECPA announces speakers for in-person C-Suite Symposium, Sept. 19-21 in Tucson
The top leaders in Christian publishing will gather in person for the first time in two years for the ECPA C-Suite Symposium, held September 19-21 in Tucson, Arizona. The conference theme is, “What Comes Next?” with featured speakers Alicia Llewellyn and Nicholas Skytland. They are both strategists at NASA; co-founders of Quite Uncommon, a technology firm that helps organizations build, test, and launch new and innovative ideas; and co-authors of the new book, What Comes Next? Shaping the Future in an Ever-Changing World—A Guide for Christian Leaders (Moody Publishers).
Other confirmed speakers include Al Lopus, CEO of Best Christian Workplaces Institute, who will address “What Comes Next for Thriving Workspaces” and Kristen McLean of NPD Book, who will share the latest research on “What Comes Next for Reader Engagement.” The program will also include other important discussions and panelists, to be announced soon. Event registration will open soon for ECPA members.

Baker Publishing Group titles named winners of the 2021 Selah Awards
On June 2, Eva Marie Everson, contest director for the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference, announced the 2021 Selah Award winners in a presentation that took place at the Ridgecrest Conference Center in Ridgecrest, North Carolina. Baker Publishing Group titles received twelve awards, including the 2021 Fiction Book of the Year, which was awarded to Sarah Loudin Thomas for her novel "The Right Kind of Fool" (Bethany House). Thomas’s book also received the first place award in the Historical/Biblical fiction category.
