June Christian bestseller lists posted
ECPA has released the monthly Christian bestseller lists for June 2024 in 15 categories. The top-selling book is “Discovering Daniel” by Amir Tsarfati and Rick Yohn (Harvest House) with “Power Moves” by Sarah Jakes Roberts (Thomas Nelson) and “Practicing the Way” by John Mark Comer (WaterBrook) coming in at #2 and #3.
ECPA names industry leaders developing upcoming PubU program
ECPA’s annual fall training program – ECPA PubU – will return as an in-person event on November 13 and 14, in Chicago. Each year PubU is developed by industry leaders called the PubU Brain Trust, who develop and present the program in publishing tracks. This year’s tracks are EDITORIAL, MARKETING, PUBLICITY, DESIGN, PRODUCTION & OPERATIONS, including a CHILDREN’S BOOK SUMMIT, led by the 2024 PubU Brain Trust:

David C Cook announces executive leadership promotions
David C Cook CEO Bill Reeves has promoted two dedicated leaders into new executive roles. Former Executive Vice President, Chadd Miller, was named Divisional President of David C Cook’s publishing arm, and Integrity Music Vice President of Digital Business and Commercial Partnerships, Greg Bays, has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer for David C Cook and Integrity Music.

Anglican House Media Ministries, Inc. has named the Rev. Dr. Christopher Stroup as its new president and chief executive officer. Chris succeeds founding CEO Canon Ron Speers who retired in 2023 after establishing the organization to fulfill the publishing needs of the Anglican Church in North America with an initial focus on publishing The Book of Common Prayer (2019).

“The Bible Recap” reaches 500,000 sold milestone
Bethany House, a division of Baker Publishing Group, is pleased to announce that "The Bible Recap" by Tara-Leigh Cobble has reached a significant sales milestone of 500,000 copies sold. Since the release of the original hardcover edition (November 2020), the entire The Bible Recap book line has collectively sold more than 800,000 copies to date.
