PubU to feature new track for Publicity professionals
This fall at ECPA PubU, an entire track of sessions will be devoted to the craft of Publicity, and its current trends and issues, on November 13-14 in Chicago. The track will be developed by Andrea Martin who is the Sr. Director of Public Relations and Author Relations for Tyndale House Publishers, and Tara Burns, Print and Online Publicist for InterVarsity Press. ECPA PubU will also feature tracks, developed by industry leaders, in Marketing, Editorial, Production & Operations, Design, and Children’s Books.
Registration is open at early bird rates.
The Christy Award® Gala and Art of Writing Conference for Christian fiction publishers, writers, and fans, will be held right after PubU, in the same conference center in Downers Grove, on November 14th. Early bird registration: TheChristyAward.com

CruPress, a ministry of CRU, joins ECPA as a small press associate. They publish books, gospel conversation and presentation tools, devotional material, small group studies, evangelism and discipleship training materials and curricula, and other items that are specifically designed to resource those doing the work of evangelism and discipleship. crustore.org
Bill Greig III joins as an individual affiliate. He is owner of ChurchGrowth.org, and former President of Gospel Light and Regal Books. Bill is also co-founder and board member of ZDL, the largest Christian publishing and media organization in China.

Baker Publishing Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Kelli Smith, Sr. Publicist, to the newly created position of Director of Publicity. In this position, Smith will centralize and oversee publicity efforts for all six divisions of Baker Publishing Group.

Christmas worship from Ukraine by Riggins Rights European director wins Sandford Award
Ukrainian writer and podcaster Nadiyka Gerbish, who also serves as the European and Nordic rights director for Riggins Rights Management, won a prestigious Sandford Award in Radio/Audio for her BBC program, “Wartime Christmas in Ukraine: The Indestructibility of Joy.”
MAI establishes the Judith E. Markham Editorial Legacy Award
