CLC, B&H, Riggins Rights and others to provide books for Ukrainian refugees
CLC International has a presence in 43 countries with bookshops and publishing houses, including Hungary, Poland, and Romania. With the influx of Ukrainian refugees to these countries, CLC felt led to minister to the refugees with books. They began consulting with their licensing partners for suitable titles.

David C Cook has announced a new imprint, Esther Press, which will publish diverse voices that encourage and equip women to walk courageously in the light of God’s truth. A portion of Esther Press sales will be invested in women’s ministry partnerships around the globe. Susan McPherson, who leads the new imprint, has already acquired three titles set to release in 2022 with nine more titles lined up for 2023.
Read More...Last call for Fiction nominations to The Christy Award: Deadline is Thursday
Nominations are accepted until this Thursday, March 31 in nine fiction categories for The Christy Award® program. All Christy Award submissions are open to works of fiction written from a Christian worldview, published traditionally or independently from March 2021 to March 2022. Submitters may also opt to nominate a title to be considered for the Christy Amplify Award on the application for no extra fee. The additional award, only considered from Christy Award nominees who select the option to be considered, seeks to amplify stories from under-represented ethnic perspectives.
Leadership Summit to feature Paul David Tripp, Stan Jantz, and Dr. Nicole Martin on day two
The ECPA Leadership Summit, held May 3-4 in Philadelphia, will feature author, pastor, and speaker Paul David Tripp presenting a session to the industry’s leaders on “Elevating Gospel Principles for Leadership.” Tripp is the author of “Lead: 12 Gospel Principles for Leadership in the Church” (Crossway) and will join Stan Jantz (former ECPA president and co-founder of Global Discipleship Alliance with Byron Williamson and David Moberg) and Dr. Nicole Martin (American Bible Society) for the morning’s sessions on current work in international discipleship.
The second day of sessions will be held in the headquarters of the American Bible Society, in the heart of historic Philadelphia, and only a walk away for attendees. It’s not too late to register!

The ECPA board of directors recently approved RR Donnelley as an industry affiliate of ECPA. RR Donnelley, a global company with 33,000 employees across 28 countries, has over 150 years of experience creating innovative solutions to serve customers in the publishing, packaging and business communications industries.
Three Brazos titles chosen as Finalists for Foreward INDIES Book of the Year Awards
Foreword Reviews magazine recently announced the finalists for the 2021 INDIES Book of the Year Awards. Three Brazos Press titles were chosen as finalists, all in the Adult Nonfiction Religion category. The titles are “Heavy Burdens” by Bridget Eileen Rivera, “Reparations” by Duke L. Kwon and Gregory Thompson, and “The Making of Biblical Womanhood” by Beth Allison Barr.
