Christian publisher, author, and editor Donald (Don) Howard Simpson entered his Lord’s presence on February 7, 2024. Cofounder of Helmers & Howard Press, Simpson spent the majority of his career with NavPress and in broader roles with The Navigators.

Hatch Endeavors is a new company launched by Torrey Sharp, an industry veteran since 1996 and current owner of Faceout Studio.

Nominations are accepted until March 31 in nine fiction categories for The Christy Award, for fiction titles published traditionally or independently from March 2023 to March 2024. Submitters may also opt to nominate a title for the Amplify Award. The 2024 winners will be announced at The Christy Award Gala held in Chicago on November 14.
