ECPA posts Christian bestseller lists for May
ECPA has released the monthly Christian bestseller lists for May 2024 in 15 categories. The top-selling book is “Power Moves” by Sarah Jakes Roberts (Thomas Nelson) with “Practicing the Way” by John Mark Comer (WaterBrook) coming in at #2 and “Mostly What God Does” by Savannah Guthrie (Thomas Nelson) at #3.
Registration period is open for Christian Rights Fair in Chicago, June 18-19
Registration is open for attendees and exhibitors for the upcoming ECPA International Christian Rights & Export Fair, held June 18-19 on the campus of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. The event welcomes Christian publishers from around the globe to gather and meet with publishers, vendors and distributors. Over 20 publishers will be exhibiting.
ECPA webinars to feature B&N’s James Daunt, and experts on the First Amendment and DEI
Registration is now open for three webinars ECPA will host for its members, starting in June:
June 7: How DEI is Shaping the Future of Publishing with Hachette Book Group’s Chief Diversity Officer Carrie Bloxson
July 12: The First Amendment and the Publishing & Distribution of Christian Books with Flagler Law Group’s Craig Gipson
Aug. 9: Reimagining the Retail Landscape with James Daunt, CEO of Barnes & Noble
IPG signs nine more former SPD publishers to its Sales & Distribution programs
Independent Publishers Group (IPG) announces the addition of nine new publishers, formerly with the now defunct Small Press Distribution, to its sales and distribution programs. They are: Black Lawrence Press, Blackwater Press, Bull City Press, Chax Press, Grid Books, Marsh Hawk Press, Ronsdale Press, Roof Books, Sinister Wisdom.
