ECPA PubU Highlights:  250 industry professionals gather to learn and connect

Over 250 Christian publishing professionals and industry leaders converged on the campus of Lipscomb University last week to learn from each other and connect in six publishing topics presented in 42 sessions, in addition to a remarkable keynote by Gabe Lyons on The Art of Curation.  For highlights and photos of the ECPA PubU conference, check out the @ECPA twitter feed and #ECPAPubU.  Stay tuned for the announcement of next year’s dates… November in Nashville!

ECPA announces the best book designs of 2017

ECPA announced the winners of the 2017 Top Shelf Book Cover Awards last week at Lipscomb University during the opening session of ECPA PubU.  PubU keynote speaker Gabe Lyons and ECPA executive director Stan Jantz announced the winning covers among the nearly 250 Christian publishing professionals gathered for the event.  Renown Nashville-based letterpress printers, Hatch Show Print created a custom edition show print for each winner.

“Long Way Gone” by Charles Martin was awarded top honors at the 2017 Christy Awards™ Gala.  Presented by ECPA, the 18th annual event was held at Lipscomb University and hosted by a trio of award-winning, bestselling authors in the genre: New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury, musician and writer Andrew Peterson, and award-winning author and radio host Chris Fabry.
