ECPA continues supporting role with Christian Collective at Frankfurt Book Fair

The 2024 ECPA Christian Collective at the Frankfurt Book Fair represented over 25 publishers, involved with three days of productive rights and licensing meetings last month. Registration is now open for the 2025 Christian Collective at the Frankfurt Book Fair held October 15-19, 2025.  Registration deadline is  January 17, 2025. Contact ECPA.

Executives from Gloo discuss use of A.I. in ECPA webinar on December 6

Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to re-shape our world, including the work of Christian publishing. ECPA will host a webinar on December 6 at 10 am central for its members:  AI – Can we afford to wait and see? The program will feature Steele Billings and Jason Malec of Gloo, where the first industry-wide AI survey was launched to understand how ministries are thinking about and using AI.

ECPA welcomes new members

The ECPA board of directors recently welcomed the following companies into ECPA:

• The Church Initiative is a non-profit ministry that equips local churches to provide Christ-centered care and support through published resources and training.
• Tracie Miles Literary is based in Mint Hill, North Carolina, and led by Tracie Miles, an author of eight books who also provides coaching and training services to other writers.

ECPA presents Bronze Award to Focus on the Family

ECPA recently presented a Bronze Milestone Sales Award to recognize more than 100,000 sold to “Showdown with the Shepherd” by Brock Eastman and Marianne Hering, published by  Focus on the Family.

Christian authors featured on Jesus Calling Podcast

Dr. Sarita Lyons, Director of Discipleship and Women’s Ministry at Epiphany Fellowship Church in Philadelphia, recently joined The Jesus Calling Podcast sharing her deep love for Scripture, and how that juxtaposed with her personal, negative experiences in a church setting. Lyons’ book, “Church Girl: A Gospel Vision to Encourage and Challenge Black Christian Women,” is available from WaterBrook.

Lisa Victoria Fields, founder and president of the Jude 3 Project, recently joined The Jesus Calling Podcast sharing how she went from an aspiring Wall Street financier to a passionate Christian apologist. Demi-Leigh Tebow, a South African native, former Miss Universe, and wife of NFL superstar Tim Tebow will join The Jesus Calling Podcast this week discussing how her faith helped her overcome personal challenges, and how it now fuels her mission to empower women. Tebow’s book, “A Crown That Lasts,” is available from Thomas Nelson.

Kendall Vanderslice, baker, writer, and teacher, will join The Jesus Calling Podcast this week taking us on a profound dive into the practice of bread making. Vanderslice’s book, “Bake & Pray: Liturgies & Recipes for Baking Bread as a Spiritual Practice,” is available from Tyndale House.
