Penguin Random House announces strategic expansion into Christian Publishing
Penguin Random House has announced the launch of the Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group, a new standalone entity that builds on its esteemed evangelical Christian publishing program. Comprised of the Waterbrook, Multnomah, Image, and Forum imprints, this new publishing entity will be led by Campbell Wharton, who has been named SVP, Publisher. Wharton will newly be reporting into Manuel Sansigre, CFO of Penguin Random House. Tina Constable has been named EVP, Business Development, Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group, also reporting to Sansigre.

The program will feature Steele Billings and Jason Malec of Gloo, where the first industry-wide AI survey was launched to understand how ministries are thinking about and using AI.

Top Shelf Book Cover Award winners announced next week
Each year, ECPA honors the best designs in books and Bibles through the Top Shelf Book Cover Awards. Next week on November 13, at the PubU opening session, the winners will be announced in four categories: NonFiction, Fiction, Bibles, and Children’s. More about the program at TopShelfAward.org.
The Christy Awards announced next week at Chicago Gala
Next week, following PubU in Chicago on November 14, The Christy Award® program will present its Gala, honoring the 33 finalists and announcing the winners in nine fiction categories. Award-winning speculative author Sharon Hinck will be inducted into The Christy Hall of Fame.

Holman Bibles releases Anglicised version of Christian Standard Bible for the Church
Holman Bibles, in partnership with Grace Publications Trust, announced a new Anglicised edition of the Christian Standard Bible (CSB). B&H Publishing launched the first of its Anglicised text Bibles, including the CSB Church Bible and the Gospel of John, with plans to add at least three more to the Anglicised portfolio in the coming year.
