New releases dominate October’s Christian Bestsellers List

An astounding number of new releases populate ECPA’s Top 50 Christian bestselling books for the month of October, reflecting POS sales as compiled by NPD’s BookScan in September. In the Top 25 alone, 13 are on the list for the first time. At #1 is The Oracle by the New York Times bestselling author Jonathan Cahn (Charisma Media). Following close behind is Beholding and Becoming, the newest from artist, entrepreneur, and speaker Ruth Chou Simons (Harvest House).

Jesus Calling devotionals distributed to over 160,000 inmates and those in recovery

The Jesus Calling podcast recently welcomed graduates from Nashville-based The Next Door, which serves women in crisis, equipping them for lives of wholeness in order to restore hope and a lifetime of recovery. Since 2012, The Next Door has distributed over 160,000 Jesus Calling (Thomas Nelson) devotionals free of charge as part of a program to jails and prisons to support women and their families.
