The world’s largest rights fair and global publishing event, the Frankfurt Book Fair, ended yesterday with the ECPA Christian Collective calling it a success. “Participation in the ECPA Collective during the Frankfurt Book Fair is a unique and important opportunity to meet with strategic publishing partners from across the world,” expressed Fred Rudy of F.J. Rudy and Associates. “It is a key part of our global publishing effort.” The ECPA Collective represented nearly 30 Christian publishing companies. ECPA handles onsite support, set-up and closing duties as well as all administrative functions related to reserving and managing the exhibit. Read More...ECPA PubU program to feature 60 industry leaders, experts to lead sessions
The 2017 ECPA PubU faculty includes some of the most recognizable names in the industry, while representing a breadth of talent and expertise with nearly 60 slated to participate in sessions for Christian publishing professionals in editorial, marketing, publicity, rights, design, production, data, workflow, and reader engagement. PubU, the industry’s annual networking and publishing event held November 7-8 at Lipscomb University in Nashville, is developed by Christian publishing leaders known as the Brain Trust. This year’s event is expected to break attendance records and draw more than 200 professionals in its first year in Nashville, including a class of Emerging Leaders representing up and coming industry talent.

The dinner gala will follow an afternoon of seminars held for “creators and curators” on The Art of Writing. The four afternoon seminars will celebrate the creative life, provide practical tips for overcoming challenges in a rapidly-changing industry, and answer questions authors are asking. Speakers include Andrew Peterson, Dr. Theon Hill, Carrie Schmidt, Cynthia Ruchti, Chris Fabry, and a panel of editors representing Howard, Tyndale Fiction, Gilead, and more.
