ECPA names 28 industry Emerging Leaders for PubU scholarship and mentorship program
ECPA has announced the recipients of the Emerging Leader scholarship and mentorship program for ECPA PubU – the industry’s training and networking event for Christian publishing professionals. Nominations were made by Christian publishing companies to invest in the emerging leaders in their organizations. Since 2016, 100 emerging leaders have gone through the program, adding now an additional 28 professionals from 16 companies – the largest class to date.

Christian Bestseller lists posted for October
ECPA has released the monthly Christian Bestseller lists for October 2023 in 15 categories based on Circana BookScan sales for the month of September. The top-selling book is “The Josiah Manifesto” by Jonathan Cahn (Frontline/Charisma) followed by “All Hope is Found” by Sarah Jakes Roberts (Thomas Nelson).
Finalists in nine fiction categories will be announced Thursday for The Christy Award®
Finalists in nine fiction categories will be announced this Thursday, October 12 at 11 am central, for The Christy Award® program. The free webcast will feature ECPA president Jeff Crosby and Moody Radio host and award-winning novelist Chris Fabry, revealing the top Christian fiction titles published in the last year.
ECPA PubU Online Track Spotlight
Calling industry Production & Operations professionals for PubU Online track
The Production & Operations track at PubU will meet November 6-9 at 12 pm (central) with a networking meetup scheduled for November 9 at 2 pm. Developed by industry leaders Jenn Butenschoen (Harvest House) and Bradley Isbell (Iron Stream), the track will include these sessions and speakers:
- Creating Collegial Collaboration with Justin Paul Lawrence (IVP)
- Best Practices for Rescuing Publication Dates with Jeff Tolsma (Baker), Fanny Gonzalez (Lexham), Susan Cornell (Iron Stream)
- A Report on the Paper & Manufacturing Supply Chain with Matt Baehr (BMI)
- Leading Without a Title with Hampton Dortch (Wildsparq)
Publishing professionals can customize their training and connection throughout 40+ sessions among six publishing tracks, master classes, and meet-ups starting on Oct. 27 through Nov. 13. One registration price of $149 includes all-access and recordings.
