Baker Publishing Group appoints new executive VPs of Sales and Marketing
Baker Publishing Group is pleased to announce the promotions of Nathan Henrion and Mark Rice. Nathan will serve as the Executive Vice President of Sales. Mark will take on the newly formed position of Executive Vice President of Marketing, Ada Divisions. These combined positions fill the vacancy of Dave Lewis’s retirement in September, and both positions report to the President/CEO.

Iron Stream Media has announced the acquisition of LPC Books, doing business as Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas, which is a traditional, royalty-paying publisher established in 2007. Christianity Today: Less than six months after LifeWay Christian Resources announced it was closing all 170 stores, the company has come up with a plan to put its products in more brick-and-mortar outlets than ever before. LifeWay has launched an “authorized dealer program” that allows independent Christian retailers to sell its popular Bible studies.
Announcing the inaugural Paraclete Poetry Prize
Paraclete Press welcomes submissions for the Paraclete Poetry Prize. Winners will be announced on April 1, 2020. First prize: $1,000 honorarium and book publication in Fall 2020. Second prize: $250 honorarium and book publication in Spring 2021. Judges will be Mark S. Burrows, Luci Shaw, and Jon M. Sweeney.

Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner joins Jesus Calling podcast
Kurt Warner recently joined the Jesus Calling podcast to discuss his journey toward his dream to be a part of the world of sports and how God guided him exactly when and where he needed to be to fulfill His purposes. One such purpose included the start of Treasure House, an organization founded by Warner and his wife, Brenda Warner, to help men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
