Theological study made simple
Logos has been synonymous with “Bible study” for over two decades. Faithlife hopes Logos 8 will open up the theology field to a wider audience. “The Theology Guide makes it easy to understand major theological issues,” explains Gons. “When you look up a doctrine like ‘atonement,’ Logos 8 provides you with a concise overview of the doctrine, surveying various views from across Church history, as well as a diagram, key passages, and recommended reading to learn more. It also looks up the doctrine in your systematic theologies, allowing you to instantly jump to read a variety of perspectives from theologians throughout the history of the Church.”
That overview is drawn from a new resource, the Lexham Survey of Theology, a project created by Faithlife specifically for the Theology Guide. It includes contributions from dozens of Christian scholars and theologians including Fred Sanders, Gerald Bray, and John Frame. The result is a massive resource covering 234 separate theological topics.
