(Nashville, Tenn.) – HarperCollins Christian Publishing announced today that LeeEric Fesko has been named associate publisher for the specialty division.
In this role, Fesko will join a large and growing area that includes Thomas Nelson gift books, Zondervan gift books, Tommy Nelson children’s books, children’s Bibles, and new media. Within those categories, Fesko will oversee many bestselling authors and brands, and will lead the Zondervan Gift division.
Previously, Fesko led as an associate publisher for Special Imprints at Thomas Nelson, managing the execution of the Max Lucado brand, acquisitions and list management of the NEXT imprint—a leader-to-leader publishing initiative with the Leadership Network, as well as the strategic and budgetary management of these two publishing brands.
“As we have worked in partnership on the Lucado brand over the years, we’ve seen first-hand what a tremendous asset LeeEeric will be to the team,” said Laura Minchew, senior vice president and publisher of gift books, Tommy Nelson Children’s Books, and new media. “He is personable, conscientious and builds lasting relationships with agents, authors and all who work with him. He also keeps up with market trends, resulting in strategic business development. Those qualities, in combination with his background, made him an ideal fit for the specialty division.”
Fesko has been with HarperCollins Christian Publishing since 2011, when he joined as senior marketing director. Prior to HarperCollins Christian Publishing, Fesko held positions in web development for VeggieTales at Big Idea Entertainment and held various sales and marketing positions at Word Entertainment. He holds a bachelor’s in entertainment marketing from Georgia State University and a master’s degree in music theory/education from Southwestern Seminary.
